Day 1 | Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain
Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It was officially recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. The pillar-like formations seen through the park are the result of many years of erosion.
Tianzi Mountain: It is known for 4 natural spectacles - the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain,the amazing views of the rising sun,the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks. They include more than 80 natural platforms to take in the magnificent scenery. Take the cable to Tianzi Mountain to enjoy the views upway and relax.
Yuanjiajie (include the Hallelujah Mountains): Yuanjiajie is in the northern corner of Zhangjiajie National Park. Ecstasy Spot, Backyard and First Bridge are the top 3 attractions at Yuanjiajie. This area is famous and popular for its Hallelujah Mountain, named after Avatar's floating rocks. Pictures of 'First Bridge in the World' from ‘Viewing Bridge Platform' (Wangqiaotai) are a bonus. Afternoon is the best time to photograph the Yuanjiajie area. To avoid crowds, your guide will take you there around 5:00 for photography travelers. You can reach Tianzi Mountain and Yangjia Valley from here. Highlights includes First Bridge in the World, Hallelujah Mountain and Viewing Bridge Platform.
Bailong Elevator: Bailong sightseeing elevator is the highest and fastest sightseeing elevator in the world and provides a spectacular view of the Sandstone Peak Forest. It has a height of 335 meters and can carry 3,000 people an hour in the fours transparent elevators. It only takes 2 minutes to travel from the top to the bottom of the mountain.
Golden Whip Stream: Located inside the National Forest Park, it stretches a distance of 5.7 km from north to south, winding along mountains and a shady path, taking 2 or 3 hours to walk the whole distance. There are many monkies as you walk along the stream. The stream is limpid all year round, and it is said the precious Chinese giant salamander can still be found.
Tips: At rush hours it might take you one hour just waiting in line to take the cable car or Bailong elevator. Ask your guide to arrange time for you to avoid rush hours.
Day 2 | Grand Canyon with 430-meter-long Glass Bridge and Baofeng Lake
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is a recently-developed natural wonderland. It incorporates mountains, streams, caves, cliffs and forest. The World's longest & highest glass bridge is also located in this senic area. Walking on the glass bottom bridge that is 300 meters avobe the ground will be the coolest experience of your tour! P.S. If you don't want to walk on the glass bridge, we will take another route to visit the attraction.
Tips: To provent heavy objects falling down, camera is not permitted to be carried when you on the bridge, cellphone or gopro are allowed.
Then drive to Baofeng Lake that is in a basin in the middle of this mountainous area. You need to walk about 20 minutes to reach the lake; then you'll enjoy a 30-minute ride in a wooden boat. It is a leisurely experience as you cruise on the clear water, view hills of various shapes, and enjoy the entertainment of local minority people singing their traditional songs.
Day 3 | Tianmen Mountain; Zhangjiajie Departure
Tianmen Mountain: Regarded as the 'soul' of Zhangjiajie, Tianmen Mountain is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. The views include graceful ancient trees, karst hillocks and long roads that are carved from the sides of the cliff. The cable car takes 30 minutes from the city center to the mountain top and is the longest cable in the world. Tianmen Mountain Glass Walkway is one of the world's highest observation platforms jutting out from a sheer cliff at 1430 meters tall. The 1.6-meter-wide, 60-meter-long glass walkway offers sightseers terrifying thrills and clear view of the mountains below as they tread nervously on it, and has been compared to the Grand Canyon 'skywalk' in Arizona, USA. Ride the shuttle bus winding 99 bends down to the foot.
After the tour is concluded, you will be transferred to airport or train station in Zhangjiajie for onward transportation.

What Do I Need To Bring
- You must bring a valid passport when on the tour.
- Green health code.
- Travel history card in the past 14 days.
- This is a private tour. No group, no others to join you.
- Please forward each individual traveler's full name and passport number at the time of booking.
- It is foggy/rainy for over 200 days per year in Zhangjiajie, but the mists make Zhangjiajie mysterious. It might rain or be foggy (obscuring some of the view), but even then the scenery is beautiful.
- A pair of comfortable walking shoes with good grip is a must.
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 48 hours or less before event.
