3-Hour Discovery The Old Times of Shanghai by Jeep Tour

To see the old architectures under the plane trees. Stop over at the 1930's French Club where the original Art Deco decoration and atmosphere have been preserved. Enjoy a bird eye view of Shanghai from 34th floor. Walk through the corridors and banquet rooms that Mao and many other heads of states had official meetings or private gatherings.

We will go to the old Shanghainese neighborhoods (Linong/Shikumen). Walk around in the narrow lanes of the old Town to immerge yourself in local life. We will Visit a unique property that has remnants from both the Ming and Qing Dynasties under one roof. It is the oldest house in Shanghai and was the biggest for hundreds of years.

• Rides of 3 jeeps or less (max. 12 pax) start from the "Bitter café" (上海市徐汇区常熟路附近五原路 58 号). Rides of more than 4 jeeps start from the Hubin/Ji'an road parking lot. 
• All rates include a third-party insurance per pax, which covers each pax for a maximum worth of 280,000 RMB (approx. 40,000 USD). Pax insurance information needs to be sent at least 48hrs in advance, otherwise the tour operator will decline all liabilities and will offer no refund of the insurance purchase. 
• With the exception of Bitter and Hubin/Ji'an parking lot, the travel agent or tour operator will have to arrange parking for the jeeps. If any parking fees are charged, these are at the expense of the travel agent or tour operator. 
• Each jeep seats up to 4 passengers: one on the front passenger seat and three on the back bench. 
• Bringing food and drinks in the vehicles as well as consuming foods and drinks in the vehicles are subject to approval from the driver on a case-by-case basis.
• Please reach the meeting point on time, otherwise you will miss your car and get no refund.
• As this is a private ride, you set the pace. Your insider will accompany you based upon what you want to see and how long you want to stop. And if you see something you like along the route, just yell STOP! Your wish is our command. 
• Expect to spend about 70% of the time driving and 30% exploring on foot. For legal & safety reasons, you are not allowed to drive a jeep.

Cancellation Policy

All Services need to be paid in full at least 30 days prior to the agreed date of the ride. In the event of a cancellation of services by the Client, the Service Fee is subjected to a forfeit of the ride cost and we will reimburse:

• (i) 70% of the Service Fee if we receive the cancellation in writing by the client at least one working day prior to the date of the Services.
• (ii) 0% of the Service Fee if we receive the cancellation by the client less than one working day prior to the date of the Services. When no passengers have shown up after 30min from the agreed departure time, we considers the Services as having cancelled less than one working day prior to the date of the Services and 0% of the Service Fee will be reimbursed.
