Enjoy your time walking on the Wall at your own pace. Take in the spectacular scenery of the Great Wall snaking along the mountain ridges as far as the eye can see. Your guide's insights will make the stories behind the Wall come to alive: what it cost to build and defend, wars on the wall... The Mutianyu Great Wall is ranked top on TripAdvisor among all the Great Wall sections due to its picturesque scenery and beautifully restored architecture. This is the most child-friendly section, with various ways of visiting it. You'll need about 1.5-2 hours to get from the airport to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. In order to save your time, we will also arrange a round-trip cable car to ascend and descend the wall, instead of spending about 40 minutes climbing steps. On the Great Wall, you will have free time to walk around after hearing some information from your guide. Hike “the most beautiful and interesting part of the Great Wall” — between the 14th and 23rd watchtowers - acknowledged by hikers as "the golden route". It normally takes about 2 hours (2–3 kilometers) to complete the walk. Then descend the wall and return to your vehicle. The cable car ascends to and descends from tower 14.

• Minimum number of participants required for the tour to run is 2 (negotiable). Maximum number of participants per tour is 10.
• Passengers with transit time more than 7 hours for their onward travel are eligible for this tour. Suggested: flight arrives before 7am and leaves after 8pm.
• Pickup time and meeting place: 9:30am-10am, Starbucks near International Exit B, Terminal 3, Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK).
• You may apply for 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit on arrival at Beijing Airport. You may need at least 1 hour for customs clearance. You'll be dropped off at airport at around 5pm. 
• We include round-way cable car or round-way chairlift/toboggan. If you want to take one-way cable car and one-way chairlift/ toboggan, please pay the price difference CNY100 per person in cash at your own expense.
• A moderate amount of walking is involved. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
• You are supposed to book tour that has drop-off at least 2.5 hours prior to the onward flight. Tour operator shall not be responsible for delayed clearance for onward flight.

Cancellation Policy

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 48 hours or less before event.
• Ours operate rain or shine. In periods of extreme or unsafe weather, we will discuss with you for alternative arrangements or cancel the tour at our discretion and provide a refund.
