Trip Route Map

Hotel pick-up → Drive to Terracotta Warriors Army

Your guide and driver will be waiting for you in the morning at around 7:30AM – 8:00AM at your hotel lobby and you’ll be picked up and drive to the start point of our journey-Terracotta Warriors Army.

Good to know:

  • How can I know my pick-up time? For detailed pick-up time and your guide information you can simply find it at: http//www.trippest.com/track-your-trip.html. The information will not be updated until the day before your trip date. If you failed in getting the information, please contact your trip advisor.
  • Why start so early? We try to avoid wasting time to queue up, because most tour groups and crowds arrive late in the morning.
  • Get to know some background of the Terra cotta Warrior? In order to help you understand the Chinese history about Qin Shi Huangand Terracotta Warriors Army, we recommend two videos for you before your trip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mP5p4QbvPtc (brief introduction, about 5 minutes). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-1IcaeuGnw (detailed introduction, about 45 minutes).
  • Say No to shops, factories and detours! There are no shop stops, no long lines and waits, and no time-wasting activities. We never take our customers to the tourist shops while other groups have to waste their time and money on the over-priced souvenirs.

Visit the Terracotta Warriors and the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang

There are threemust-visit pits:

  • Pit1: it is the largest pit, containing 6,000 warriors (only 2,000 are on display) and horses. What the most striking fact is that none of them is alike.

  • Pit2: smaller than Pit1, contains around 1,300 warriors and horses, but it is the largest variety of the three.

  • Pit3: which is the smallest, containing 72 warriors and horses, and is believed to be the army headquarters and commend the soldiers in pit1 and pit2.

Last site:the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang

You'll be transferred from the museum to the best viewpoint where you can view the whole area of the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang. You'll be shocked by the large size of the mausoleum. And lots of anecdotes about Qin Shi Huang are waiting for you.

Good to know:

  • Flash light is prohibited in Pit1.
  • Your entrance ticket will be checked twice in the museum please keep it in your pocket.
  • We have prepared FM headsets to help you enjoy interesting stories from your guide.
  • You will be equipped with a telescope to visit the details about Terracotta Warriors Army at a distance of 20 meters.

"Amazing!"

Reviewed June 23, 2017

I was a little nervous to travel China as a young girl so I decided to book this tour and I am so happy I did! My guide William was friendly, knowledgeable and overall great. There were only a couple of us on the tour so it was personal as well. William was always offering to take pictures and share his knowledge on the Great Wall, Forbidden City and Tiananman Square. I would recommend this tour to anyone. :)

Amazing trip!! Tour guide Cactus, was outstanding! Exceeded my expectations. Not only visited the listed places but Cactus went over and beyond to show us additional things outside of the planned trip. Also picked great places to eat and it was important to her that we had private areas to eat at where we could hear and enjoy the small groups company. I would highly recommend requesting Cactus, on your adventure!!

Jimmy was an excellent tour guide. He was on time, personable and extremely knowledgeable on China's history. We appreciated his VIP tour and his thoughtfulness of our group. He made sure our group was away from the crowds and allowed us to view the different sites with exclusivity. He is fluent in English and Mandarin allowing our visit to the Forbidden City to be so much better. Thanks Jimmy!!
